Tove Wahlund

PhD (Karolinska Institutet), licensed clinical psychologist (Stockholm University)

I work at the Department of Psychology, Karolinska Institutet. My current work focuses primarily on university teaching, supervision, and academic scholarship in clinical psychology.

I have a clinical background in primary care as well as child and adult psychiatry, and I received my PhD in 2020 with a focus on psychological interventions and worry. I am co-supervisor to three PhD students and involved in several research collaborations, including work on blended CBT, integrating face-to-face sessions with therapist-guided online treatment.

I am also an author of the book Orosboken – Ta hand om din oro i fem steg (Natur & Kultur, 2024) written with Erik Andersson. 

My research profile centers on worry and anxiety, internet-based psychological treatments, and how psychological interventions affect everyday functioning, including in relation to broader societal challenges such as climate change.
