Tobias Granwald

I am a postdoc in Marc Guitart-Masip's research group at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience.

My doctoral project aimed to quantify prior beliefs in affective decision-making and identify the brain regions where these are represented. The project also aimed to quantify prior beliefs in patients with depression and to relate them to the expression of depression symptoms and clinical outcomes. In my postdoc I am continuing this work.

I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Medical Science with a major in Psychology from Karolinska Institutet. I am also a licenced clinical psychologist who worked at Karolinska University Hospital with both neuropsychological assessments and cognitive behavioural therapy. Before my PhD position, I spent two years working as a research assistant with Andreas Olsson at the Emotion Lab at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet.
