About me

I have an interest in several research areas that relate to health and the human experience, from an individual as well as a societal perspective - including health care science, psychology, psychiatry, epidemiology and sociology.

My education is within psychology and I have a BSc(Hons) from University of Stirling (UK) and a MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology from University fo York (UK). I have previously worked as a research assistant at the Department of Psychology at Stockholm University and at the Stress Research Institute.

Research description

My PhD project focuses on end-of-life care within the elder care context. Through series of focus group discussions we explore staff experiences, reflections and concerns about end-of-life care-related issues in elder care to identify perceived challenges and facilitators for communication about dying and death in these settings.
