About me

Soheir Beshara, MD, PhD is a Senior Consultat at the department of Clinical
Chemistry, Karolinska University Hospital.

Research

Main research interest is erythropoeisis, inherited defects in erytrhocyte membrane and enzymes as well as iron metabolism.
She is main supervisor to PhD-student with focus on erythrocyte membrane defects as well as co-supervisor to PhD student with focus on iron metabolism in chronic kidney disease.
