About me
- I am a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet, working in Catarina Almqvist Malmros’ group at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. With a background in medicine and epidemiology, I am dedicated to producing high‑quality research that bridges clinical practice and population health. My work aims to improve our understanding of health and disease across childhood and beyond.

Research
My research focuses on pediatric asthma and allergy within the project Appeasing the Wheezing. Current projects include:
- Environmental allergen exposure: assessing how exposure to allergens in early life influences the development and progression of asthma and allergic diseases.
- Early-life factors, growth, and asthma: investigating how early-life factor and childhood growth patterns affect asthma development and disease course.
I also have substantial experience in pediatric obesity and steatotic liver disease from my PhD, including work on early-life determinants, disease trajectories, and long-term health outcomes.
