About me
- Working in Grégoria Kalpouzos group on the ElastAge project as
amanuens/teaching assistant.
I am studying Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuropsychology and Consciousness at
the University of Skövde. My dream is to do my own research one day,
discover what consciousness is, write a book and get the Nobel Price. When I
am not studying or working I go to the gym, make cocktails and watch
Formula1.
Research
- I am working as an assistant in Grégoria Kalpouzos group with the *ElastAge
project *where she is Principal Investigator (co-PI: Jonas Persson
[1]). Text below borrowed from Grégoria Kalpouzos page [2].
/We investigate the biomechanical properties of the brain in cognitively
healthy individuals and in patients with mild cognitive impairment using
Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE). Previous research has shown that in
normal and pathological aging, the brain tissue becomes "softer". We
investigate the molecular and microstructural neural underpinnings of the
viscoelastic brain parameters, and relate those to brain activity and
cognitive performance. This is a collaborative project between ARC/KI, the
Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm/Division of Biomedical Imaging
(KTH), the Memory Clinic of Karolinska University Hospital Solna, and
Stockholm University/Department of Psychology./
