Research description

My main research focus is on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and its treatment. I will compare the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) delivered on the internet and in the clinic. This will be done in several ways:

Short-term and long-term outcomes

Predictors and moderators of treatment outcome
Cost-effectiveness
Polygenic risk scores and their relation to outcome

Teaching portfolio

I teach at the undergraduate programmes for medical students, psychologists, and occupational therapists at the Karolinska Institutet. The topics include: an overview of psychotherapy, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and workshops in using clinical tools such as behavioral analyses.

I also do lectures for the Swedish OCD foundation (OCD-förbundet) on our research at the Karolinska Institutet and other recent developments in research.
