Research
- The title of the research project is ''The Usability, acceptability and
patient satisfaction of the NEVERMIND automated e-health intervention for
the self-management of mental health symptoms among patients with breast and
prostate cancer''. The research is based on a newly developed e-health
system, NEVERMIND, which stands for NEurobehavioural predictiVE and
peRsonalised Modelling of depressIve symptoms duriNg primary somatic Diseases
with ICT-enabled management procedures. The NEVERMIND system compromises of a
smart shirt and a mobile application which collect mental and physical
parameters through questionnaires and physiological data respectively to
predict the severity and onset of depressive symptoms in patients diagnosed
with five somatic conditions. More information about the trial can be found
 at http://www.nevermindproject.eu/ [1]
The research project focuses on the acceptability, usability and patient
satisfaction of the NEVERMIND system, as well as the factors that determine
the acceptability, usability and satisfaction of the system in dealing with
mental health symptoms in breast and prostate cancer patients.
