I'm affilieted researcher at the Department of Women’s and Children’s health at the Karolinska Institutet. I hold two PhDs: one in Pediatrics and another in Biomedicine/Neuroscience. My expertise lies in exploring the intricacies of brain development in both preterm and term infants. I specialize in identifying neuroimaging biomarkers to create personalized interventions that support the neuropsychological development of these young patients. My aim is to help these infants and their families achieve a better quality of life through early diagnosis and early intervention using advanced technologies such as computational analyses, digital brains, and non-invasive brain stimulation. I am passionate about the emerging fields of consciousness and cognitive development in early life, with a vision to enhance neonatal care practices.

Every year I organize and teach at the PhD course "Early Child Development: “Extended Interactions Between Neural Networks, Body and Environment".
