About me

  • I am an affiliated researcher at Karolinska Institutet, focusing on eating disorders, behaviour change, and digitally enabled models of care. My work sits at the intersection of clinical practice and applied research, with a particular emphasis on how behavioural change can be operationalised, measured, and scaled in real-world settings.

With over two decades of clinical experience, I have contributed to the development of methods that support the normalisation of eating behaviour through real-time feedback and structured follow-up. A central theme in my work is how the patient–clinician interaction can be strengthened through data-informed tools and clearly defined interventions where small, observable changes can lead to meaningful clinical outcomes over time.

    In parallel,

I work on the development of digital health solutions and services aimed at improving access, adherence, and treatment outcomes in eating disorder care.

    • Eating disorders: mechanisms of behavioural change and recovery
    • Normalisation of eating behaviour through real-time feedback and structured interventions
    • Patient–clinician alliance in behaviour-focused treatment
    • Digital and hybrid models of care (integration of in-person and remote treatment)
    • Scalable interventions for prevention and treatment of mental health conditions
    • Data-driven monitoring and visualisation of treatment progress
    • Implementation of evidence-based methods in clinical practice
    • Micro-habits and small behavioural changes in health promotion
