About me

  • I’m a SciLifeLab PULSE (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellow, specializing in computational biology and precision medicine. In my fellowship, I’m developing in silico models of the immune system to understand, predict and improve individual responses to cancer immunotherapy. I hold a PhD in cancer immunology and bioinformatics from a joint program between The University of Edinburgh and the University of Gdansk. Whilst there, I profiled immune checkpoint expression across cancers and species, and targeted them through antibody engineering. Prior to that, I worked in R&D at Polpharma Biologics, contributing to the development of the company’s first therapeutic antibody – now in clinical use. Beyond research, I’m passionate about open, reproducible science (steal my resources). I’ve served as a student mentor with the Polonium Foundation, organized science festivals, workshops for children and lectured in a Scottish prison. Open to new collaborations!
