About me

Michail is a postdoctoral researcher at Karolinska Institutet in the Translational Breast Cancer Research – Theodoros Foukakis Group, working in bioinformatics and cancer data analysis.
He was originally trained as an Electrical and Computer Engineer and later earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. His background spans extensive academic research, participation in EU-funded projects, university teaching, and work in translational cancer clinical studies integrating multi-omics data.

Research

His research focuses on cancer genomics and transcriptomics, with an emphasis on developing novel treatment-predictive biomarkers. He works with large-scale molecular datasets, multi-omics integration, and computational modeling to uncover clinically meaningful patterns in tumor biology. His interests include biomarker discovery, predictive modeling of treatment response, and bridging molecular data with clinical decision-making in oncology.
