About me

Martina Valletta is a Medical Doctor specialized in Neurology at Sapienza University of Rome.

She is a PhD student in Debora Rizzuto's group since 1 February 2023.

Research

Martina Valletta's main clinical and research interests are:
- Blood biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease: Martina Valletta's PhD project focuses on the application of
- blood biomarkers of AD for dementia prediction in a population setting
- Chronic diseases as risk factors for dementia: the contribution of chronic diseases to neuropathological changes and to the onset of cognitive impairment and dementia
