About me
- Postdoctoral researcher and project coordinator for the Swedish version of the Prevent It treatment program, designed to prevent the risk of child sexual abuse.
Research
- Prevent It is an anonymous, internet-based, cognitive-behavioural therapy program for people with sexual urges towards children. The treatment program is being evaluated within the EU-funded project PRIORITY (Prevention to Reduce Incidence Of Sexual Abuse by Reaching Individuals Concerned About Their Risk to Young People), an international collaboration between researchers at Universitaetsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany, Universidade do Porto in Portugal, the Royal Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research in Canada and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the US.
My doctoral thesis from the University of Gothenburg is about the psychological consequences for victims of technology-assisted child sexual abuse. More information on previous research can be found in the Publications section.
