• We share news and stories about KI's research and education and portray KI as a university and stakeholder in society.
• We develop KI’s channels and new formats for editorial content.
• We support the organisation with media and communication advice and through external monitoring.

My background at KI

My professional journey is deeply rooted in journalism and media relations. My journey at Karolinska Institutet (KI), began in 2007 as an editor. Over the years, I’ve served as the editor of the staff magazine KI Bladet and held the position of editor-in-chief for KI News. Today, I hold dual roles as the Chief Press Officer and Head of the Press and Editorial Content Unit within the Communications and Public Relations Office.
In my position, I oversee both media relations and editorial content. Leading a dedicated team of ten professionals, we provide comprehensive services, including press services, research news, strategic communication from management, and expert advice to teachers, researchers, and university administration. Our commitment extends to external monitoring and crisis communication. By engaging with diverse audiences, we foster transparency and dialogue, amplifying KI’s impact and reputation.
