About me
As Operations Controller at AIMES I am responsible for the financial, administrative and operational actions. I work in close collaboration with the Center Director, Steering Group and participants within the center in a variety of commitments such as financial management, quality control, human resources, communication, outreach activities etc. I have the assignment to develop and implement routines and processes to optimise the day-to-day work within AIMES.
AIMES - Center for the Advancement of Integrated Medical and Engineering Sciences is a joint collaborative effort by KI and KTH in interdisciplinary research and community benefit. At AIMES, we focus to create the long-term conditions that are required to secure the growth of intrinsically interdisciplinary researchers and students.
The center is located in Biomedicum at KI, Campus Solna. Project carried out at AIMES are of fundamental as well as applied character. The philosophy of the Pasteur’s Quadrant opens for basic science and technological innovation to thrive at AIMES. By assessing the Technology Readiness Level of our projects, the maturity of new technologies is monitored in all progression phases, thereby supporting translation towards societal use.
The activities at AIMES contributes to transformation of research and education investments into social benefits and economic growth as well as serving as an important resource to help achieve the university’s goals described in KI Strategy 2030 and KTH Vision 2027, as well as the global sustainability goals in Agenda 2030.
