About me

  • I am a scientist at Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden, a Swedish national infrastructure core facility located in SciLifeLab. I specialized in assay development and screening and my role is to help other researchers to design and develop high throughput
screening assays to idendify novel small molecule modulators from chemical libraries.

I obtained my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, then I was a postdoc at Emory University School of Medicine, working at the Emory Chemical Biology Discovery Center. In 2023, I joind CBCS at Karolinska Institute.

Research

  • My PhD research was mainly in identifying small molecule inhibitors for
Protein Methyltransferases in epigenetic regulation. During my postdoctoral
research, I was focused on high throughput screening and discovery of
chemical disruptors for protein-protein interactions of novel protein targets
    in cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease.
