Jianing Liu

I am a postdoctoral researcher with over 13 years of experience in molecular biology, laboratory medicine, and biomedical research. I hold a Ph.D. in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet, a Master of Medicine, and an M.D. from Chongqing Medical University, as well as a professional certificate in Clinical Medical Laboratory Technology.

My research focuses on the role of protein ubiquitination and other post-translational modifications in the pathogenesis of various diseases, including metabolic disorders, intestinal diseases, cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. I am particularly interested in understanding how ubiquitin-mediated protein regulation contributes to disease progression and how these molecular mechanisms can be exploited to develop novel therapeutic strategies.

Currently, my research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease, with particular emphasis on protein ubiquitination, targeted protein degradation, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting Tau pathology.
