Jennifer Yo

Dr Jennifer Yo is an early-career clinician–scientist and nephrologist at Monash Health and Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and an affiliated researcher in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institutet. She completed nephrology training in Australia, followed by post-fellowship subspecialty training in obstetric nephrology at the University of Toronto. She also holds an MPH in Epidemiology from Harvard University and a PhD from Monash University, where her research focused on the role of endothelial dysfunction and transplant immunosuppression in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.

Her research focuses on applying causal inference methods to large population-based datasets to advance our understanding of women’s health and chronic kidney disease across the life course.
