Jeanette Westman

Jeanette Westman is the head of the Academic Primary Care Center and a researcher at Karolinska Institutet (KI). She holds a professorship at Marie Cederschiöld University. Her research focuses on improving patient care, specifically for people with mental disorders and addiction. The research covers different clinical topics and methodologies such as randomized controlled trials (RCTs), clinical cohorts, qualitative studies, and registry studies. Jeanette has held academic leadership roles, managing research and education programs at all levels. She is committed to healthcare quality improvement, leadership development, and enhancing primary care for the Stockholm region's population
