About me

  • I am a postdoctoral researcher specialized in Cancer Epidemiology at the Unit of Epidemiology of the Karolinska Institutet. I have a PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health and my educational background is in Mathematics and Biostatistics.

Research

  • My previous research has been focused mainly on breast cancer screening. My PhD aimed to estimate a woman’s risk of developing invasive breast cancer applying individualized risk models based on her personal risk factors in order to personalize breast cancer screening.

    Currently, my research is centered on childhood cancer, with a specific focus on identifying socioeconomic inequalities in the diagnosis process and treatment initiation for patients with this disease.
