About me

  • I am a psychiatric epidemiologist, working at the intersection of register-based research, genetics, and pharmaco-epidemiology. My current research focuses on identifying clinical, socio-demographic and genetic factors linked to clinical heterogeneity in ADHD and related neurological and psychiatric conditions.

As a member of the EU funded collaboration TIMESPAN ( https://timespan.eu/ ) I lead several multinational research projects aimed at understanding long-term treatment patterns in ADHD and the causes of premature medication discontinuation.

I obtained my PhD in psychiatric epidemiology from the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 2018 (http://hdl.handle.net/10616/46243) and has since worked as postdoc at Aarhus University, Denmark, University of Bergen, Norway and as a Hjärnfonden Postdoctoral fellow at Karolinska Institutet.

As of 2024, I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, as well as holding research positions at the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care, University of Bergen and the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University.
