Research description

My field of research is focused on experiences related to the end of life from the perspective of patients, family and professional caregivers. Ongoing projects intend to enhance knowledge in the areas of:

Co-design at the end of life. In this action research project we will both conduct basic research as well as use innovative participatory approaches to capitalize on experiential knowledge from the perspective of patients, family and staff to improve the environment and quality of care at the end of life.

A support group program delivered to family caregivers caring for a dying person at home. The overall aim of this project is to investigate the effects of a psycho-educational intervention for family caregivers delivered as a randomised control trial in specialized palliative home care.
