Husam Alsamia

I am an orthodontist and PhD student at Karolinska Institutet.

My doctoral research focuses on gingival tissue changes associated with orthodontic treatment and long-term retention.

I am interested in multidisciplinary orthodontic treatment and collaboration across orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, and periodontology. My research interests also include digital orthodontics, three-dimensional imaging, and applications of artificial intelligence in orthodontics. I have several years of clinical experience in Sweden and internationally.
