About me
I work as a project coordinator in the research group Global Disaster Medicine - Health Needs and Response.
I coordinate the Erasmus Mundus Master’s programme Public Health in Disasters. In my role as programme coordinator, I am in charge of planning and coordinating the course content, as well as overseeing student experience. Alongside the Erasmus Mundus programme, I coordinate the freestanding course Public Health Response in Disasters (20 credits). I also coordinate the professional education Health Assistance in Humanitarian Crisis, which is a collaboration between Médecins sans frontières Sweden and KI. The course is attended by health care staff ahead of a mission with MSF and aims to provide competencies, strategies, and tools to work as humanitarian health assistance staff.
I am also part of managing our as advisory body to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), where I write external monitoring reports and research overviews on the topic of global disaster medicine, and I work with the IPA Care project, a capacity-building project to prevent the risk of earthquakes and health emergencies.
Prior to joining the group at KI, I worked with matters related to global development at non-governmental organisations.
I am happy to answer questions about our courses, the IPA Care project, and our work as an advisory body to the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare.
