Research

  • Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global public health problem, due to its
    high prevalence, high rate of complications, high health care costs and poor
    outcomes.
    My research interests are risk factors and complications of chronic kidney
    disease (CKD), different aspects in patients with CKD, such as infections,
    mental disorder (such as stress-related disorder), lifestyle (physical
    activity, diet), medications (such as vitamin D), and traditional Chinese
    medicine.
