I’m a chiropractor with a master’s degree in sports science and a particular interest in sports medicine and biomechanics. My research at Karolinska Institutet investigates how spinal manipulation, exercise therapy, and open-label placebo influence movement quality, physical function, and pain in people with chronic back pain. The project is conducted in both motion laboratory and clinical settings and combines objective movement analyses with patient-reported outcomes related to pain and function, aiming to improve understanding of treatment effects and placebo responses. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to improved care for people living with chronic back pain—one of the leading causes of disability worldwide.
