About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher working in the field of artificial intelligence and digital pathology for precision medicine at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Karolinska Institute. My expertise is computer vision and unsupervised machine learning which I use to help us understand breast cancer pathology images to aid in selecting adequate treatment plans.
Previously I have held postdoctoral positions at Stockholm University, KTH and University Colege Dublin. I have a PhD in Computer Science from University College Cork, a MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Madrid, and a Software Engineering Degree from Universidad del Valle.
Currently, I am the chairperson of the Karolinska Institute Postdoc Association (KIPA). If you are a postdoc and need any kind of help, you can contact me directly.
When I am not in the lab you can find me on the tennis courts or at the BBQ grill.
