About me

  • I am employed as a senior lecturer in aging, neuropsychology, and brain imaging at the Aging Research Center. There, I am leading a research group that covers a range of topics related to cognitive aging.

  • My research interests include (a) cognitive functioning in the preclinical dementia phase, (b) the effect of vascular factors on cognitive performance in normal aging and dementia, (c) correlates of olfactory function in aging and the early dementia development, (d) structural brain correlates to old-age cognitive performance, and (e) cognitive and olfactory deficits in post-COVID syndrome .

  • In parallel with my research activities, I am the scientific coordinator of the collection of cognitive data in the Swedish National study on Aging and
Care in Kungsholmen (SNAC-K) and part of the SNAC-K steering group.

I regularly teaches classes related to cognition, aging, and dementia.
