About me

  •

I am a visiting PhD student as part of the Cerebellar & Emotional Networks consortium from the University Hospital Essen in Germany, My research is on the role of the cerebellum in fear extinction, and how this brain structure might interact with the reward system to contribute to reward prediction error processing, thought to drive fear extinction. In my stay in the Månsson lab, I am learning about manual fMRI denoising techniques and how to apply these on a collected 7T fMRI 3-day fear conditioning paradigm dataset.

Research

  • Cerebellum, fear extinction, fMRI functional connectivity analysis, VTA, fear conditioning
