Emil Olausson
About me
Emil Olausson is a former student of KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, holding a degree in Information and Communication Technology. The degree involved a bachelor's in information and communication technology and a master's in medical engineering. His master's thesis was "Explainable Automatic Classification of Vertebral Compression from Opportunistic CT scans", which used computer models to classify vertebral compression fractures.
He is currently working as a research assistant at H9 Klinisk vetenskap, intervention och teknik.
He is interested in a wide variety of fields within computer science, with a particular focus on the medical field. Within the medical field, he has a specific interest in medical imaging and how computer-based diagnosis could be improved through computer science techniques.
