About me
- I am a consultant anaesthetist at the Department of Perioperative Medicine
and Intensive Care (PMI) at Karolinska University Hospital and an instructor
at the Center for Advanced Medical Simulation and Training (CAMST). My
research focus is on multidisciplinary team training and patient safety.
Research
- Our interdisciplinary research group, with the overall project name *SUPREM*
(*S*ustainable *PR*ofessional life during a pand*EM*ic), has an ongoing
research project "Intensive care in connection with COVID 19 - stress,
collaboration and safety climate".
We aim to analyse the impact of workload and stress factor perception on
interdisciplinary teamwork, burn out factors, safety climate and
communication among staff in an ICU environment during and after the
pandemic. Thereby, hoping to contribute to a better preparedness for how
similar situations can be handled in the future regarding work conditions.
