I am a registered occupational therapist and a doctoral student at the Division of Occupational Therapy at Karolinska Institutet. The title of my dissertation is Everyday and eHealth technologies and services used by older adults with cognitive impairments. This ongoing research is about how older people with cognitive impairments (due to i.e. stroke or dementia) experience their use of everyday technologye. In this thesis I have a special focus on the technology used in contact with healthcare, called eHealth. I belong to the research group CACTUS (Cognitive ACcessibility and Technology Use when Aging in Home and Society) led by Professor Louise Nygård. My main supervisor is Associate Professor Camilla Walles Malinowsky.
I graduated from Luleå University of Technology in 2006, and has since then worked clinically in different hospitals and primary care centres around Sweden.
In 2014, I had my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at Karolinska Institutet with the examination work titled: Description of experiences of people 55+ regarding their use of eHealth in contact with health care services.
I conducted my half time seminar in Decemeber 2017 and plan to defend my thesis by 2020.
