About me

  • Phd student from University of Valencia. Member of Instituto de Investigación en Psicología de los RRHH, del Desarrollo Organizacional y de la Calidad de Vida Laboral (IDOCAL) and of the Laboratorio de Neurociencia Social Cognitiva LabNSC in the University of Valencia.

Psichologist and Master in basic and applied neurosciences.

Research

  • My research focuses on the study of acute stress in different types of populations, such as young and old people or people with subjective memory problems.

My PhD project focuses on the effect of acute stress on different types of memory, specifically on prospective memory. This memory has an important effect on our daily lives, affecting most of our tasks, especially social tasks.

The impact of stress on this type of memory may offer us a way to prevent these failures in at-risk populations from leading to psychological distress. The main objective of my work is to improve people's quality of life.

In addition to my main research, I am currently working at the Karolinska Institutet where, together with researcher Mariola Zapater in Agneta Nordberg's group, I am collaborating with studies in Alzheimer's disease populations, specifically people on Early-onset AD, Late-onset AD and ADAD.
