About me
I obtained my BSc from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia (2019) focusing on radiology diagnostics. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Medical Nuclide Techniques at Uppsala University, Sweden focusing on nuclear medicine and molecular imaging. I have a strong passion for neuroscience, particularly in the field of neuroimaging. My professional experience in the neuroimaging department focuses on utilizing MRI to enhance diagnostic accuracy for neurological conditions, such as brain tumors, epilepsy, cerebrovascular disease and neurodegenerative diseases. Through my work, I aim to contribute to advancing diagnostic value with neuroimaging approach that can improve patient care and outcomes in the field of neuroscience.
Research
My research interest focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease. In its advanced stages, this devastating condition leaves individuals unable to recognize themselves or their loved ones, and with no cure currently available, early detection becomes crucial. My goal is to identify biomarkers for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease using non-invasive methods.
Specifically, I aim to leverage neuroimaging approaches such as structural MRI to detect early signs like hippocampal atrophy and white matter abnormalities, PET scan to see brain metabolism, and EEG to measure brain activity. By integrating these neuroimaging findings with clinical data, such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis, I hope to contribute to the development of more effective diagnostic tools for early intervention.
