About me
- Hi! Callum here from Scotland!
I have a background in cell biology as well as nutrition and now focus on physical activity and health.
I am passionate about physical activity and eating a healthy diet. I
thoroughly enjoy playing sports, running and training in the gym. I also like
to eat a well-balanced diet but am a foodie at heart and love to eat food
from all around the world.
Research
- The first part of my PhD research will be investigating the associations between
time spent in physical activity, sleep and sedentary behaviour and various
non-communicable diseases.
The second part of my research will investigate the feasibility of a mHEALTH digital service
that aims to promote healthy lifestyle behaviours in different populations
My research covers understanding the relationships between
lifestyle behaviours and health, health promotion
and addressing important social determinants of health.
Teaching
- Lectured in the subject area of physical activity and health in the Nutrition science master's programme at Karolinska Institutet.
