About me

  • Aris is a consultant radiologist at Karolinska University Hospital and the Head of the Abdominal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Department at Huddinge. He defended his doctoral thesis with the title "Magnetic resonance imaging as a tool for diagnosis, evaluation, and prognosis in patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis" in 2023.

Research

  • His research focuses on the utilisation of MRI in patients with PSC, including the standardization of the evaluation of MRI images, and the validation of MRI as a diagnostic and prognostic tool in patients with PSC. Other areas of research are liver cancer, mainly cholangiocarcinoma, and quantification of liver function with MRI.
