Antoine Créon

I am currently pursuing a PhD in epidemiology and biostatistics under the supervision of Prof. Juan Jesus Carrero (KI) and Dr. Edouard Fu (Leiden University, Netherlands). Prior to moving to Stockholm, I trained as a nephrologist at Paris University, which has provided me with a strong clinical foundation to complement my epidemiological research. I am passionate about advancing our understanding of chronic kidney disease through rigorous methodological work.

My research focuses on applying causal inference methodologies, particularly within the target trial emulation framework, to address pressing questions in kidney disease care. I aim to leverage observational data to provide clearer insights into treatment effects, with the ultimate goal of informing clinical practice and decision-making.
