Anna Humphreys

I am a PhD student in epidemiology and causal inference. My background is in medicine, and I am currently a speciality trainee on the public health training scheme in the UK. I am taking time out of the public health training scheme for this PhD.

The aim of my research to understand how routinely collected observational data can be used to assess how effective different treatments and interventions are using causal inference methodologies. My PhD project is based on the benchmarking of observational studies against randomised trials that ask a similar question.
