Angelo Giosuè Mezzoiuso

I am a medical doctor specialist in preventive medicine and epidemiologist in the field of cardiovascular research. 

Currently, my research at Karolinska Institutet focuses on investigating the cardiovascular and metabolic risks in women exposed to fertility treatments. I apply causal inference methods and machine learning algorithms to explore the causal relations between reproductive health and short and long-term cardiovascular disease. My goal is to generate insights that can lead to improved prevention and care for at-risk populations.

I aim to bridge scientific research and real-world impact by developping actionable tools and strategies for cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation. I am always open to collaboration with researchers, healthcare organizations, and industry partners who share the goal of advancing cardiovascular health through innovation.
