Alessandro Bosi

I am a postdoctoral researcher at CAUSALab— a research group jointly based at Karolinska Institutet and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health — specializing in causal inference and its application to routinely collected healthcare data. I hold a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology, an MSc in Biostatistics, and a BSc in Mathematics.

My research focuses on the generalizability and transportability of causal estimates — extending inferences from randomized trials to broader target populations by integrating trial data with observational sources. In addition, I work on target trial emulation, a framework for designing and analyzing observational studies that aim to estimate the causal effects of interventions.
