Karolinska Institutet and RIKEN have recently renewed their agreement on a short term student exchange program where RIKEN hosts doctoral students from KI for a period of 3 months to less than 12 months.

International Program Associates (IPAs)

Candidates accepted into the program will be designated as International Program Associates (IPAs). An IPA is a non-Japanese doctoral candidate attending a Japanese graduate school participating in RIKEN’s joint graduate school program, where you find a number of Japanese universities, among these: The University of Tokyo; Tokyo Medical and Dental University; Kobe University; Yokohama City University; Osaka University; Kyoto University .
