Karolinska Institutet
As one of the world’s foremost medical universities, KI accounts for the single largest share of all academic medical research conducted in Sweden. KI also offers the country’s broadest range of education in medicine and health sciences.

False adverts with KI researchers' names reported to the police
Karolinska Institutet has noticed several cases of commercial adverts that refer to named KI researchers without their consent. The adverts have been published on social media and elsewhere and advertise various products that these researchers do not endorse. One of the latest products in the adverts is said to lower blood pressure. These adverts are false. The named KI researchers featured in the images and films do not endorse the messages being promoted. The adverts are misleading and false marketing. KI has urged the researchers to report the adverts to the police and has taken steps to stop the publication.
