StratCan Research Associate
The StratCan Funding for Research Associate Positions is a four-year grant intended for highly talented researchers with the purpose of developing independency in research (in 2011 this funding instrument was referred to as Young Investigator Award).
Research Associate positions 2013
Lotta Hansson was granted a Research Associate Position in Translational Cancer Research. She is active at the Department of Oncology-Pathology and the project is entitled "Development of targeted therapy for chronic lymphocytic leukemia."
Roland Nilsson was granted a Research Associate Position in Basic Cancer Research. He is active at the Department of Medicine, Solna and the project is entitled "Charting cancer cell metabolism using next-generation metabolomics methods"

Kristian Pietras received a StratCan Young Investigator Award for the project entitled "Exploring targeting opportunities within the pro-angiogenic tumor stroma." while active at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Biophysics at KI. Kristian has relocated to Lund University.
