New services are under development for establishment of brain organoids and Neuronal functional analysis using Multi-electrode Array (MEA).
Generation of 3D whole brain organoids
iPS cells are embedded in Biosilk (a spider silk protein-derived biomaterial) and differentiate in 3D structure to whole brain organoids.
This service takes at least two months or longer and it includes:
- Thawing and expansion of iPS cells
- Embedding to Biosilk
- Daily feeding
- Neural induction and maturation to whole brain organoids

Neuronal functional analysis
High-resolution electrophysiological measurement with BioCam Duplex. Each HD-MEA has 4096 recording electrodes that can be used for cells, organoids and brain tissue.
