Researchers at the Postgraduate Programme in Biology of Infections and Global Health Programme (BIGH)
Researchers working on Cell to Society participate in the Postgraduate Programme in Biology of Infections and Global Health Programme (BIGH). Both undergraduate and post graduate education is prioritized. The researchers work on intervention with innovative and new solutions for the prevention and treatment of poverty-related diseases and conditions (pregnancy, injuries). The research includes identifying barriers to implementation of evidence based and globally recognized intervention. Clinical and translational research focus on finding new solutions in form of drugs, vaccine, diagnostic tests and policies to improve uptake of interventions in health systems. The centre encourages out of box thinking for improved health and advances in information and mobile technology is part of the agenda for the centre. A list of research groups/researchers working with global health agenda is presented below. Information on individual groups / researchers is found on the home pages of the departments linked with each researcher.
