About me

  • I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Pharmacoepidemiology at Karolinska Institutet, where I conduct research on the utilisation and safety of pharmacological treatments for diabetes and obesity using Swedish national registers.

I have a background in clinical pharmacy from Vietnam and epidemiology from Karolinska Institutet. My research interests include causal inference methods and perinatal pharmacoepidemiology. I defended my PhD in June 2026 at the Division of Clinical Epidemiology, where my doctoral research focused on assessing the risks of adverse pregnancy and cardiovascular outcomes associated with systemic lupus erythematosus and its treatments.

Before joining Karolinska Institutet, I worked as a junior teacher and researcher at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, I taught prescription and medical record review and conducted research on medication adherence among patients with chronic conditions.
