Thomas Poiret

My main research interests are i) T cell based immunotherapy such as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) therapy for hematological malignancies and solid tumor, ii) gamma-delta (γδ) T cells and the involvement of their different subsets in the clinical setting of cancer and infections and iii) harness the innate and cross-presentation properties of γδ T cells for immune therapy purpose.

My second interest is the sustainable development of research and diagnosis (mainly immunology but not exclusively) in low- and middle- income countries (LMICs). I work together the Pasteur Network of Senegal to support capacity building and promote clinical research excellence.
