I am Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Science since 2010 at KI. Additionally, I direct the Center of Neurodevelopmental Disorders at KI (KIND), and head the Pediatric Neuropsychiatry Unit at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health. On the clinical side I work as a senior consultant in clinical psychology and specialist in neuropsychology at the division of child and adolescent psychiatry Stockholm.
I have diverse national and international commissions, for example I am visting professor at the Central Institute of Mental Health, University of Heidelberg, research associate at Curtain University in Perth, founder and board member of Scientific Society Autism Spectrum, editor of Autism: the international journal of research and practice”, associate editor of the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders, and editor in chief of the Scandinavian Journal of Child Psychiatry and Psychology.
Publications: currently 131 reviewed original articles, reviews and editorials (62 first, 21 senior), 6 textbooks, and 58 book chapters. I have supervised 12 PhD students to dissertation (3 of them as a co-supervisor). Currently supervising 8 PhD students (2 as co-supervisor).
My research area since almost 20 years is neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder and ADHD.
