About me

  • I received my BSc degree of Biomedical Medicine from Maastricht University,
the Netherlands (2012). Thereafter, I completed my MSc on the subject of
‘Infection and Immunity’ at Utrecht University, the Netherlands (2014).
During my doctorate at the University of Ghent, Belgium, I studied the
transcriptional regulation of human NK cell biology and proved the importance
    of ETS1 and RUNX2.

  • In 2022, I started my postdoctoral research at the Center of Haematology and
Regenerative Medicine (HERM). My main research interests include the
transcriptional regulation of human NK cell development, function and tissue
homing as well as the role of vitamin A and D in these intricate processes.
